Ruth Langsford has revealed the £3 product she uses to keep her blonde hair flawless in lockdown
A must-have if lockdown is taking its toll on your coloured hair...
Thanks to lockdown life, a trip to the hair salon to get our roots touched up seems like a distant memory.
Like so many ladies with dyed hair, This Morning host Ruth Langsford has been deprived of the luxury of a colour refresh for a couple of months now.
But Ruth’s lack of contact with a professional hairdresser seems to have gone unnoticed by her fans, with many questioning whether she’s had a secret meet-up with a colouring professional in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to Instagram to respond to followers who were wondering why her highlighted hair still looks super blonde, Ruth revealed that she’s been managing to disguise her roots and keep her locks looking salon fresh with one super affordable product.

“A few people have been saying ‘oh Ruth, have you been secretly having your roots done?’
“Er, no! Look at them,” Ruth said, revealing the darkened hair underneath her fringe.

“If I’d been having my roots done by a hairdresser, I’d be asking for my money back! I had them done just before lockdown, fortunately," the Loose Women presenter joked.
Captioning the upload, Ruth explained that she’s been using a simple, £3 product in the shower to keep her blonde tones in check.

About our deals
‘NO I haven’t had my roots/highlights done! I do use a brightening shampoo for blonde hair a couple of times a week though,’ she wrote, before using the hash tag, ‘isolation hair’.
In a snap, Ruth held up a bottle of the PRO:VOKE Touch of Silver Brightening Shampoo for blonde, platinum or white hair.
The violet pigment in the elixir banishes nasty yellow tones and leaves blonde barnets looking bright, ashy and toned to perfection.
Don’t be alarmed by the scarily purple appearance of the stuff though, we promise it won’t leave your head looking like a sprig of lavender.
