Princess Diana lookalike shows us how to do 80s hair in viral TikTok video
Find out how to recreate the iconic look from this foolproof tutorial
If you've ever wondered how to do 80s hair à la Princess Diana without blowing up your hairdryer, you're not alone.
Recreating the late royal’s blonde locks can seem like a daunting task, especially when she rocked it so perfectly herself. Luckily, a Princess Diana lookalike has revealed her foolproof formula for achieving the iconic look.
Rose Nora Anna shared her easy-to-follow tutorial on TikTok, in which she documents each step of the process to emulating Diana's fluffy do.
With reference to tips from a 1981 magazine, the royal fan uses a Remington air styler to volumize her short blonde hair into an effortless bouffant (if you don't have a fancy styler handy, don't panic—you can also curl hair with a straightener).

Rose also uses hair clips during the makeover, which help divide the hair neatly and allow for more targeted styling. She spritzes her tresses with a blast of hairspray for the final touch and, voila, the look is complete.
The video has received over nine million views since it went live on Friday, with many TikTokers awestruck over Rose's uncanny resemblance to Princess Diana.

“Diana? That you?!” one user commented.
“You're literally her” another wrote.
Rose is more than happy to be compared to the beloved royal, calling her a “huge fashion icon.”
“I think it's such a beautiful and sophisticated haircut," she told Insider. "She still inspires so many people to this day with her iconic sense of style and fashion.”
The vintage fashionista, who proudly identifies as a “boogie baby” loves to experiment with retro trends on her TikTok and Instagram. She has paid homage to a number of other 20th-century celebrities, including Olivia Newton-John and Abba's Agnetha Fältskog, in past videos and images. Surprisingly, she only recently gained the courage to chop her hair short—a cut she now believes to be ”the best decision” she's ever made.
