No7 launches game-changing skin analysis tool FREE at your local Boots store
The No7 Pro Derm Scan is bringing serious skin innovation to the high street
No7 has launched a game-changing skincare device to provide Boots shoppers with the ultimate in-store advice when it comes to their complexions.
The brand new Pro Derm Scan is a totally free skincare diagnostic service that allows customers to have access to a dermatologist-grade device during a trip to Boots, with the clever scanner analysing everything from skin texture and tone to pores, wrinkles and hydration levels.
Using its hydration sensor, 30x magnifying lens and multispectral-lighting, the hand-held gadget’s professional-level skin analysis, combined with the expertise of No7 Beauty Advisors, will help everyone from skincare obsessives to skin treatment newbies to pin down their perfect complexion regime.
The super intelligent, in-store tech, available nationwide, recreates the controlled setting of a scientific laboratory to analyse skin, providing highly accurate images and measurement that allow for the best skincare decisions to be made.
The tool uses high resolution scanning 1000 times more powerful than the human eye to hone in on aspects of the skin up to five times smaller than a single hair, before they’re even visible. With 20 million areas of skin being scanned, a scientifically validated analysis of fine lines and wrinkles, pores, oil balance and hydration can be provided in just moments.
In a consultation lasting just 15 minutes, the No7 Pro Derm Scan will help you to make the right skincare and beauty decisions based on a new-found, deeper understanding of your unique skin, so you can quit using unsuitable products that aren’t designed for your skin’s needs and invest in tailored skincare.
According to research conducted by No7, 86 per cent of women have bought skincare products in the past, only to realise they were unsuited to their skin type, with 75 per cent of women admitting to only using a third of their skincare stash.
The Pro Derm Scan will even help with making your make-up routine the best it can be, with its skin tone technology, which was developed by PhD color scientists at the former Kodak lab in New York, helping to find the most accurate foundation shade match for you.
Kirandeep Sandhu, No7 Global Skincare Innovation Manager, explains just how much the Pro Derm Scan will take understanding skincare to a new level for Boots shoppers, saying: “No7’s Pro Derm Scan service is a game-changer, bringing skin analysis technology with a human touch to the high street.
“Through a personalised consultation with our No7 Beauty Advisors, No7 consumers will be able to see their skin like never before, understand how their skin is performing, and receive expert advice on the right skincare and cosmetics products and regimes for their skin.
“We are delivering a significant step-change in consumers’ experience of skin diagnostics and their understanding of their own skin, by continuing to bring even more personalised services to consumers, underpinned by our scientific credibility and skin expertise.”
