Sephora now stocks its first Black-owned clean color cosmetics brand, LYS Beauty – high performance, vegan make-up products that are available in a broad range of shades.

Founded by Tisha Thompson, LYS Beauty, which stands for "love yourself", is also the first Black-owned clean beauty brand to be exclusively stocked at the retailer.

According to its website, the brand "is on an unapologetic mission to empower, inspire and awaken your most confident self through strict formulation standards that help reshape the way consumers approach clean beauty."

What's more, the high performing products won't break the bank. Everything in the line-up comes under $22, with the range comprising foundation, primer, blush, bronzer, setting powder, lip oil and brushes.

More from woman&home:

"I’ve always been a big believer in finding what makes you you, and truly standing in it, and that feeling of total empowerment is what I hope to bring to the beauty industry," Thompson said of her brand, according to Good Morning America.

The news comes after Sephora pledged to double its featured Black-owned beauty brands to 16 this year. Check out some of the LYS Beauty products you can shop at Sephora below.
