Laura Mercier launches brand new shade of bestselling face powder
Laura Mercier has launched a brand new shade of their bestselling face powder.
Laura Mercier has already brought us one of the best foundations around with their Tinted Moisturiser that has become a staple part of most beauty fans’ makeup routines, and now they’ve expanded the colour range of their iconic face powder.
Just like their extensive Pure Canvas primer collection, the brand’s Loose Setting Powder has gained a cult status in the realm of setting powders, with a dedicated following that just keeps on growing.
And now the product, which originally came in Translucent and Medium-deep options, is now available in a gorgeous Honey colour.
What’s so special about the Laura Mercier Setting Powder?
It’s fair to say that the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder is one of the best around.
With a lightweight, fine-milled texture it can be delicately dusted across the skin without leaving any questionable powder patches and you only need the tiniest bit of product to work some magic.
Not only is the soft powder long-lasting enough to keep shine away even on the longest and sweatiest of days, but it’s featherweight texture means no clogged pores or irritated skin.

Which Laura Mercier powder is best for me?
Unlike some powders that claim to be translucent but end up leaving darker skin tones with a telltale white sheen, Laura Mercier’s translucent setting powder really does blend into most skin tones, giving a natural but airbrushed look.
That being said, for those with quite deep skin tones, there is a Medium Deep shade that will probably suit a little better than the translucent option.
And for those who sit in the middle, while the Translucent shade will work perfectly well, the brand new Honey colour will enhance olive and golden skin tones and leave you with a delicate glow.
The peachy-yellow toned colour is a twist on the make-up artist Banana powder staple, but adds warmth to the skin in a more natural way than the conspicuous Banana powder.
