Jennifer Lopez addresses Botox comments in new interview: 'please don't call me a liar'
Jennifer Lopez is not here for anybody speculating that she's had work done
There's no denying that Jennifer Lopez has incredible skin and she has no problem shutting down those who say it isn't natural. We're in awe of her radiant complexion – but even with the best foundation and a hefty dose of highlighter, it's hard to match her signature glow.
After shutting down an Instagram commenter who claimed her good skin is down to Botox, the star has now addressed the recent incident in a new interview.
"I don't judge anybody. If you want to do Botox and injectables, that's fine!" she told PEOPLE. "But I don't want people lying on me and saying, 'Oh she's trying to make believe that this stuff works.

"No, I"m telling you what I do works! Please don't call me a liar. I don't have to lie about things," she added. "I've been pretty honest about my whole life.
"If I had [had Botox], I would say, 'Yeah, you're right,' but I don't want people going, 'Stop lying, you're doing this, you're doing that,' when that's just not true. I just felt it had to be set straight, but in a loving way."
The initial comments came earlier this month, after the star posted an Instagram video of the first time she tried her new sheet mask – which has racked up a casual 8.7 million views and counting. No surprise, considering fans have been asking for Jennifer Lopez's skincare routine for years.

One follower took it upon themselves to comment speculating that Lopez has had work done. 'Can I just mention that brows and forehead doesn't move at all when you talk or try to express,' one user commented. 'You definitely have Botox. And tons of it. And it's all good. Just saying.'

JLo wasted no time in clapping back: 'LOL that's just my face!!!," she replied. "For the 500 millionth time… I have never done Botox or any other injectables or surgery!! Just sayin' :) Get you some JLO BEAUTY and feel beautiful in your own skin!!"
She added, 'And here is another JLo Beauty secret: try spending your time being more positive, kind, and uplifting of others don't spend your time trying to bring others down. That will keep you youthful and beautiful too!!! Sending you love'.
The singer has spoken out before about how people should stop saying "you look good for 50", discussing how a woman wants to feel good, without age as a caveat.
“You never want to hear you look great for 50," she told ELLE. "[People] want to just hear you look great, no matter what age you are. And for me and for the company, that is a big part of it.
"We don't want people going, you look great for 60, 50, 40, 35. You want people to just go, wow, you look amazing."
Amen to that. Lesson learned: you don't come for Jennifer Lopez!
