Cult celebrity favourite moisturiser sells out hours after launching in UK – and it’s now back
It came to the UK after a demand from 6,500 customers!
Now that the weather has turned chilly we’re always up for a good moisturiser.
And one that comes with a cult celebrity following as well as an outrageous customer demand sounds like it’s right up our street.
So that’s why we were overjoyed when we heard that French brand Embryolisse recently launched a new moisturiser that was so popular it sold out just seven hours after it hit stores.
Their Lait-Crème Concentré London launched in stores and online last week but was quickly snapped up, with the sales having exceeded expectations by a massive 300 per cent.

And we can see why.
The multitasking concentrate, which can be used as a moisturiser, makeup remover, primer, intensive masque and after-shaving product, has a creamy milk texture that plumps and hydrates dry skin, while its light texture absorbs quickly so that it doesn’t leave a greasy residue on oily skin.

The original cult lotion became so iconic that it now sells one bottle every 23 seconds while boasting A-list clients including Emma Willis, Karlie Kloss, Michelle Keegan, Arianna Grande, Jorja Smith, Lady Gaga, Gwyneth Paltrow, The Kardashians, Kristen Stewart, Scarlett Johansson, Elle McPherson and the Victoria Secret Angels.
After launching New York and Paris editions of the formula, the brand had calls for a London version from a massive 6,500 customers.

“We have never seen such huge sales in the first week of launching a new product in the UK,” said a spokesperson for the brand. “British shoppers are going mad for the new London design over New York and Paris designs by a huge margin, proving that in a time of political chaos, they are showing their support of a patriotic focused product.”
The London concentrate outsold the New York edition by 100 per cent, while it sold a huge 270 per cent more than the Paris version.
Luckily fans didn’t have to be without the cult product for too long, as it is now back in stock in both Boots and online beauty retailer Beauty Bay.
Looks like another thing to add to the Christmas list!
