Aveda brings back much-loved discontinued range by popular demand
For those of us plagued with dry lengths and brittle ends anything that promises to hydrate is like manna from heaven.
Pretty much any and every product that claims to restore the moisture in our locks is slathered on and soaked up like a sponge.
And now hair care brand Aveda has brought back one of their best-loved products that was previously discontinued.
The leading brand has brought back their Sap Moss range that fans haven’t been able to get hold of in more than a decade.
The much-loved range is making its comeback after more than ten years – and its back with a brand new list of hydrating ingredients.
With a formula that promises weightless hydration, the silicone-free shampoo and conditioner use Iceland moss and larch tree sap, which can hold twice its weight in water, to moisturise hair without making it heavy.

The gently cleansing product promises not to strip the hair of its natural oils and leaves hair with a woody scent using jasmine, organic olibanum and cypress.
And for anyone who’s a regular at their colour salon, the shampoo and conditioner instantly detangle locks so you can get your highlights done and still be left with soft and shiny locks.
‘#SapMoss is HERE!’ wrote the brand announcing their comeback on their Instagram page alongside a boomerang video of the famous product. ‘You’ve never experienced hydration like this before… Available NOW! #Aveda’.
‘The dynamic duo is 94% naturally-derived,’ they added in another post. ‘Perfect for hydrating all hair types. *From plants, non-petroleum minerals or water.’

‘Fantastic shampoo and conditioner,’ added another.
Others wrote, ‘This conditioner is fab! 💚’, ‘I’m obsessed with this stuff!’ and ‘Got so much love for #sapmoss 😍’.
And what’s even better than the formula? The packaging.
It’s signature Aveda design comes in packaging made from 59% post-consumer recycled materials and up to 41% bioplastic, with a 60% recycled polypropylene cap.
The range is available online now. We might have to grab ourselves a bottle or two.
