Annie Milroy

Annie Milroy is the Beauty Writer for Woman & Home and other publications. 

After being inspired to work in magazines as a result of bingeing Ugly Betty at the age of 12, Annie knew a life working at an esteemed publishing house was her dream job. She spent three years studying Journalism and English Language at the University of Portsmouth, alongside balancing (many) nights outs and hungover 9am lectures.

In 2017, she started interning in the fashion and beauty cupboard of heat and Closer magazine and never left. Six years later she’s refined her career to just beauty, although still remaining as obsessed with fashion as before, and admitting to having over 60 maxi dresses in her wardrobe… 

During her career, she assisted on numerous fashion and beauty shoots, and interviewed the likes of Claudia Winkleman, Nadia Hussain and Rochelle Humes. Plus, getting to speak to the industry’s finest experts in skincare, makeup, hair, body and health. 

When she’s not working she’s shamelessly watching back-to-back Real Housewives episodes, spending all her time with her beloved yellow Lab, Freya, and hunting down the best carb spots London has to offer.
