More than 20,000 people have bought this affordable ring worn by the Duchess of Sussex

It's gorgeous!

Once again, The Duchess of Sussex’s style has captured the hearts of the nation.

The Duchess of Sussex’s fashion is so great it frequently makes the headlines - but now it’s her jewellery that has got royal lovers talking.

Her £40 thin stackable gold Threadbare ring made by New York jewellery brand Catbird has made quite a few appearances over the years.

The Duchess first shared her love of the Brooklyn-based brand on her now-defunct lifestyle website, The Tig, in 2015.

Since she started her relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan has worn the ring publicly on a number of occasions.

So much so, in fact, that it’s thought that that the duchess has prompted 20,000 sales of the ring.

Catbird's founder Rony Vardi has since said that the delicate ring has flown off the shelves, thanks to the stylish royal.

She wore the ring to the Anzac Day commemorations in London in 2018 and on a visit to a radio station for her second official appearance, as well as at an Invictus Games event in Sydney, a few months later.

The Duchess’ influence is so recognisable, that the product page on the Catbird website even reads, 'PS - This ring is worn everyday by a certain American turned princess with the initials M.M.'

The website description describes the piece as, 'Thin as a whisper... shiny as flaxen hair. Barely there... glimmering and delicate. Slightly hammered, solid 14k gold.'

The ring is also available in rose gold and comes in a number of different sizes.

But Catbird is not the only ethical jewellery brand loved by the Duchess of Sussex. She was also spotted wearing accessories byPippa Small, at the British Fashion Awards last December.
